The purposes of the Association shall be to uphold the best traditions of the legal profession; to promote the administration of justice; to foster fair and honorable dealings between attorney and client; to support legislation for the betterment of the judicial system; to encourage friendly and cordial relations among members of the Bar; to cooperate with all state and national agencies, organizations and movements for the advance of the science of jurisprudence and the judicial system; to provide service to the community through volunteer action and philanthropy; to provide continuing professional education for its members; and to deal with matters pertaining to the Bar and the practice of law in southwestern Connecticut.”
